Objective
The FCENetwork methodology is completely objective and records only what the claimant actually does and says; no opinions or estimates of performance beyond what was actually demonstrated/ In other words, with the FCENetwork methodology, an FCE just reports the “facts” as they occurred.
Unbiased
The claimant is in complete control of the FCE process. Prior to each activity the claimant is instructed as to what the task entails and is told to let the Evaluation Specialist know if they feel anything and when they think they should stop. The claimant is also not instructed as to how each activity should be performed, and rather is told perform the task as they ould at work.
Scientific
Like all FCEs, the data gathered by FCENetwork is a sample of activities that must be extrapolated to determine full work day capacities. Unlike most methodologies, these extrapolations are based on established formulae, not guess work or practitioner opinion. While these formulae are proprietary, they are routinely made available to physicians, attorneys and claims staff who execute non-disclosure agreements.
