Objective
The FCENetwork methodology is completely objective and records only what the claimant actually does and says; no opinions or estimates of performance beyond what was actually demonstrated/ In other words, with the FCENetwork methodology, an FCE just reports the “facts” as they occurred.
Unbiased
The claimantis in complete control of the FCE process. Prior to each activity the claimant is instructed as to what the task entails and to report any changes. The claimant is also not instructed as to how each activity should be performed, and rather is told perform the task as they would at work.
Scientific
Like all FCEs, the data gathered by FCENetwork is a sample of activities that must be extrapolated to determine full work day capacities. Unlike most methodologies, these extrapolations are based on established formulae, not guess work or practitioner opinion. While these formulae are proprietary.
